Dear B.U. Community,

It has been a busy summer at Berne Union, with the new field house nearly complete and the demolition of our old building in progress. Like you, I am a bit sad to see the bricks come down, but I am also excited for our future campus to be complete in the coming year!

As we enter into a new school year, we welcome the class of 2037 and begin to celebrate our senior class of 2025! It will be a year of new beginnings for all, but particularly these two groups of students. We are also welcoming several new staff members this year who will bring fresh energy and ideas to our district.

Here at Berne Union, we are focused on building adaptability, resilience, determination and character for our students, but we know that the most important foundation building starts at home. We are dedicated to working with our students and families to provide a supportive place where your child can grow and thrive. We want to be partners with you in your student’s educational journey, so please engage and communicate with us so that we can work together and ensure our students are as successful as possible!

We are looking forward to a wonderful school year! I always say Berne Union is a uniquely special place, and that is because we have the most incredible students, staff, families and community. Thank you for being part of it!
