Because we want the children to have an optimum environment for doing their best work, here are our recommendations:
  • Schedule relaxing, enjoyable activities with family the night before testing with a favorite meal.
  • Ensure your child gets plenty of sleep and wakes up well rested.
  • Provide your child a nourishing breakfast each morning before school.
  • Be on time for school, keeping in mind that students are tardy if they are not in the classroom at 9:05 AM.
  • Avoid scheduling appointments on testing dates, which would cause your child to be absent from school.
  • Understand that no child will be admitted to class after testing begins. We will provide a place for latecomers in another classroom until testing is over. We will make every effort not to interrupt classes during testing.
  • Encourage your child to do their best but do not stress them!
Together we will cheer our students on for success. We are excited about this opportunity for students to show how much they know, and we are all confident that they will shine brightly in their performance. Respectfully,

Melissa Drury and Maria Call
